Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA) - Instructor Training Event

Dates: February 20-21, 2020

Time: 8:30am-5:00pm both days

Location: Thursday: Southwestern Community College (Burrell Building) 447 College Drive, Sylva, NC 28779 

                 Friday: Jackson County Department on Aging - 100 County Services Park Sylva NC 28779

Additional Details:

Materials (TCA DVD, TCA Handbook, and Teaching Tai Chi Effectively) will be mailed 3-4 weeks prior to the training.  Please spend the appropriate amount of time with the DVD and TCA Handbook prior to the training.  Students should be familiar with the warm-ups, cool downs, Basic 6 movements and tai chi principals.  

Please come prepared for two days of active learning, bring a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes and flat soled shoes.

Participants will have access to a refrigerator/microwave for lunch. Also, several restaurants are nearby to grab a quick bite during the lunch break.

CEU's are available.  A payment of $20 cash or check made payable to Meghan Bryant will be excepted during the training registration. 

Those attending for their certification update are required to be in attendance the entire second day of the training, though we highly recommend attending both days.
