What is a respite voucher?
A respite voucher allows a caregiver to choose a person, agency, or facility to provide respite and will then be reimbursed up to $500.00. The goal of the voucher is to allow the caregiver time to take care of themselves, do something they enjoy, and recharge. The availability of respite vouchers is dependent on funding.
