High Country Area Agency on Aging is the central hub for resources and support for older adults in the North Carolina High Country. Through our direct services and provider network, we offer home- and community-based solutions, family caregiver support, a long-term care ombudsman, advocacy, and health promotion and disease prevention classes.
North Carolina Lifespan Respite Project
The North Carolina Lifespan Respite Care Program is an application-based program that reimburses eligible family caregivers caring for individuals of any age for up to $750 in respite care services in a calendar year.
